Weed Corps Wants You!

Weed Corps is a volunteer organization of Legal Marijuana Supporters

Weed Corps is a volunteer organization of legal marijuana supporters that work to improve the local community through philanthropic work, advocate for health freedom, and help to educate the public.

Our mission

provide quality Weed education

advocate for health freedom

Be philanthropic in the community

Our plan to BE GOOD | DO GOOD is composed of four elements that all work to improve the lives and abilities of St. Louis residents in a way that is more than just giving away free stuff to those in need.

We believe that it is more important to teach a person how to fish than to just give away fish.

We believe that by expanding food availability, giving critical moment support, supporting local music and arts, and supporting an inclusive work-space we can make St. Louis a better place to live.

health freedom

We will advocate for your health freedom.

marijuana education

Our current public education agenda includes sharing the research on marijuana as a medicine, proper weed etiquette, and how to get your medical marijuana card.

Expanding Food Availability

Nourishing the body goes a long way towards nourishing the soul, and we know that without healthy, quality food, much suffering follows.

Weed Corps is committed to working with local non-profits to bring more sustainable food sources to the St. Louis area.  We will be a dependable volunteer base ready for the call, as well as, a dependable financial resource.

We are committed to making healthy food available to the food scarce areas of St. Louis and working hard to eliminate food scarcity.

This includes supporting sustainable farming in food scare communities.

Critical Moment Support

It happens too often to want to count how many in our community fall on “hard times”.

A job loss, natural disaster, or family disaster and then help is needed.

We believe that these temporary setbacks do not need to become permanent hardships. And with the right interventions, they won’t be. We will ensure that people enduring hard times can get back on their feet by providing financial and volunteer support to local nonprofits which make available - emergency shelter, clothing, counselors, health care, and vocational training.

We especially want to focus on the vocational training and health of those in need.

Making healthier AND more capable people will help St. Louis thrive.

An Inclusive Work Space

This industry should strive to support all races, genders, and people from all walks of life. We will advocate for an inclusive work space that encompasses the diversity of the St. Louis community. .

Additionally, many adults with disabilities are unemployed or underemployed at greater proportions than in the able-bodied population. We will partner with local non-profits to identify positions within the marijuana industry that would be appropriate for all abilities.

Music and Arts are an important part of the success of a city, and its people, so we will put an emphasis on getting out and being involved.

We will unabashedly support the local music and arts scene.

Vision for the Future

Our vision is to help St. Louis become a place where people live and work together in harmony and successfully; where food scarcity is a thing of the past; and where the St. Louis community attracts individuals, families, and new and expanding businesses.

Together we can make St. Louis a beacon for healthy, happy, and prosperous individuals and families.
